Champlain Valley Family Center (CVFC) will provide Too Good For Drugs, Keep A Clear Mind, and Families and Schools Together (FAST).
Behavioral Health Services North (BHSN) will provide Adventure Based Learning, individual mental health assessments and school-based individual counseling as needed. A case worker will also be available to students and families who participate in the individual programs.
Eastern Adirondack Health Care Network (EAHCN) will provide resources to ensure students build the 40 Developmental Assets, character traits that help young people grow up healthy, caring and responsible.Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country (CCCCNC) will help create a family resource center in Saranac and Morrisonville elementary schools. A weekly parent/child play group for pre-school families, a parent lending library, and bi-monthly developmental screenings will be offered in each family resource center. They will also hold regional parenting classes annually.
