PBIS Celebration

PBIS Our February PBIS prize drawing, induction ceremony and celebration started as usual with our 3 mini-stars stating the rules be safe be responsible and be respectful. After that a 5th grade student lead our school in the pledge of allegiance. Next a 1st grade student shared how a classmate filled his bucket by helping him to do the right thing.
Our prizes were drawn.

New this month four students were drawn to make chinese food with Mrs. Layhee. Four students then were drawn and participated in the Minute to win it challenge. The students two at a time had to work as a team to get a marble to stop in one of 5 holes on an ironing board. One group was able to do it and the other did not. All participates were given a candybar.

Next 65 students were inducted into the Star club and had their walk of fame down the red carpet. At lunch today one of my PBIS team members mentioned that our assemblies were going very smoothly. I had to agree. They are great.
