As part of the Safe Schools/Healthy Students federal initiative, the Communities of One project must meet data collection and evaluation requirements. Data must be collected, analyzed, and disseminated in a manner that maintains individual confidentiality.
A local evaluation team has been contracted to work with the Communities of One project to develop and manage a comprehensive evaluation plan. This plan will outline procedures for effectively collecting, analyzing, and reporting the project’s data.
The Safe Schools/Healthy Students administrator will use local evaluation reports to monitor the effectiveness of the programs and services supported by the project and guide implementation decisions. Evaluation reports will also be submitted to the National Evaluation Team to further evaluate the project’s effectiveness in meeting Government Performance Reporting Act (GPRA) outcome measures on the federal level.
Confidentiality is important to us. The evaluation team will not collect information that could identify an individual student. Although project data may be shared with the public, neither individual names nor individual schools will be identified in published materials.
All Project data will be stored in a secure manner and access will be strictly limited to the appropriate school or agency personnel.
